Just had an audition today which the director said that I did very well. It's always nice when people say that - whether they mean it or not. It validates me as an actor and reminds me that this is what I truly should be doing. As if your boss at your day job will ever say nice things to you.
On the way out, I bumped into a film crew who were filming something. I felt like I was in Hollywood again - walk out of an audition, and here they are filming a TV show. It's good to live in a place where things are happening!
